Our vacation of the summer of 1998 was exciting and lots of fun. In addition to the Littlefields, who live there year round, we had the three Schmidt families, the Hays, and the Greenes.

Most of us arrived at the lake on June 30. David, Kathy, and Jade stayed with us in the red camp. Holly and Jon moved into the red camp loft when they arrived the next day with Kava.

Eric and Michelle settled into their camp next door with Patrick, Beverly and McKenna Greene.

One of the first activities for David, Eric, Jon and Patrick was to spend a day climbing Mt.Chocorua. I was only able to convince Eric and Patrick that a couple of rides on the Alpine Slide at Attatish/Bear Peak would be a good thing to do.

"Vacation99" was significant as a skiing and snowmobiling vacation. Regina made her first trip on a snow machine as the driver. She and I took the two "sleds" to the store at the head of the lake for a grocery run. Also a first, she watched from Eric's picture window as a snowmobiler tried to "skim" the open water area in front of the dam at the foot of the lake.
