Kay Gardner hosted a 60th birthday party for Regina at her home on Sept. 23, 2000. While Reg knew about the party, she was totally unprepared for the surprise visit from "Elvis Presley." It was Elvis in his younger days and he sang to and wiggled for Regina, much to her delight and embarrassment.

Guests included myself (your friendly webmaster); our daughter Holly, who delivered our fifth grandchild Margarette Grace Hays three days before; Eric, Michelle, Jasmine, and Regina Mae; David drove down from Jacksonville for the party and to see Maggie; Tami and Don Bornkessel; and Julie Therrien
