A friend and I were returning to
the base late one night and this
porcupine ran across the road.
Always fascinated with strange
animals, I captured this fella
in my buddy's leather jacket
and we brought it back to the
barracks. As we got up to the
flight crew dorm the little sucker
got out of the jacket and ran
under the bunks. We got it in the
shower, took some pictures of it
and I let it go. Had a devilish time
getting all the quills out of his
jacket.
